Gathering of people during Alumni and Family Weekend

Alumni and Family Weekend

A Message from President Rooney

At Fisher, we continue to anticipate and plan for the upcoming academic year and our return to campus. Our Campus Reopening Task Force, comprised of 60 faculty and staff members, is moving forward in developing plans for the fall 2020 semester. And, while our current plan is for a return to campus operations for classroom instruction and residential living, we know that the fall semester will be one of necessary change with a new normal.

体育足球比分It is with the health and safety of both our campus community and our guests in mind that we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Alumni and Family Weekend. This wonderful Fisher tradition, with alumni returning to campus and families reuniting to share a weekend on campus, is something that I personally look forward to each year as it gives me an opportunity to reconnect with alumni and to meet our newest families, and I know faculty and staff across campus share in that sentiment.

Alumni and Fisher families share a special bond, and while we will miss sharing the weekend together in person, we know we will come through these challenges stronger and more united, finding new ways to connect and celebrate the Fisher we all know and hold dear.

Thank you for your understanding and continuing support of St. John Fisher College. We look forward to celebrating this great College tradition again in the future.

Regards,
President Rooney
